Camping

With all of the amenities you'd expect from a campground, including a picnic shelter, camping hook-ups, plumbing, picnic tables, and grills, the Lake Carthage campground is an excellent destination for your next camping trip. Plus, you'll be able to enjoy all of the benefits of the lake with its close proximity.

The campground will provide you with an enjoyable camping experience without breaking your budget. Camper hookups are only $9.00 per night, while the tent area is a mere $6.00.

Fishing

Whether from the shore or a boat, Lake Carthage draws fisherman from all over. The boat dock on the southeast side provides easy access to the lake. Ice fishing is popular in the wintertime.

Largemouth bass, bluegill, and black crappie, along with pike and walleye, are among the abundant species of fish that draw anglers from all over.

Swimming

Lake Carthage's sandy beach area is the perfect place to spend the afternoon soaking up the sun. Cool off on a hot summer day in the lake's refreshing water. Spend the afternoon building a sand castle with the family. For the more adventurous, the boat dock on the south side allows easy access for boats and jet skis.
